General Labour - Production

Adecco is currently seeking a motivated General Labourer for Production to join our client's team in Ajax, ON. This Temporary role offers a competitive salary of $17.25 per hour. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks to ensure smooth production operations, including using walkies and pump trucks, box-making, material monitoring, and maintaining cleanliness.

• Pay rate: $17.25/hour.

• Location:Ajax, ON

• Shifts: Monday-Thursday 5:30am-4:30pm

• Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Operate walkies and pump trucks efficiently.

• Prepare boxes for production line workers, minimizing downtime.

• Proactively identify and address production needs to maintain workflow.

• Monitor materials at all stations to prevent shortages.

• Manage garbage collection and disposal.

• Retrieve items for production using low ladders.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards, including wearing STWB or Safety Shoes with green patch CSA.

• Gloves will be provided.

• Access to a vehicle is necessary.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a production or warehouse environment preferred.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

• Strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Valid driver's license required.

• Candidates must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
