Seeking labourers in Saskatchewan, not limited to Saskatoon.
This position entails travelling from town to town; the successful candidate is responsible to find own accommodations.
Applicants must have a valid drivers license (preference given to G Endorsement), clean abstract and ability to pass a criminal records check.

Duties
Load and unload materials, equipment, cable trailers and move materials in work areas
Pull fibre through conduit to pedestals
Install/Replace pedestals and cabinets
Perform testing and troubleshooting if required
Direct traffic and carry out other traffic management activities as needed
Maintain tools and equipment as per manufacturers specifications
Excavation by hand where necessary
Maintain clean and safe work sites; remove debris and trash at construction sites
Manual Labour shovelling, digging, backfilling etc.
Perform other duties as assigned by manager or crew leader
Experience
Related experience (i.e. Labourer, Construction, etc.)
Experience with fibre optics considered a major asset
Working in city environments
Knowledge of handling requirements of fibre optics would be an asset
Knowledge and Skills
Strong manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail
Ability to work in all weather conditions, confined spaces, isolation
Ability to work in a physically demanding atmosphere, must be able to lift and carry 50lbs+
Self-disciplined, motivated, organized, and a team player
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks
Ground Disturbance and First Aid would be considered assets
Additional Requirements
Willingness to work overtime, weekends
