General Labourer (Ft)

Nordic Nurseries in Abbotsford, BC is looking for 1 full time person. We are a propagator for bedding plants and hanging baskets for the plant brand called Proven Winners and supply to greenhouses and nurseries in Western Canada. This is a really good place to work and when the sun is shining, there is no better place to work than our family owned greenhouse. We treat everyone like family!

This position will be a bit of a hybrid position as you will be assisting in general duties around the greenhouse as needed and also be part of our Growers team. General duties could mean hanging flower baskets, working on the production lines, moving carts, pressure washing. As part of the Grower team, you will be assisting in the growing of all the plants, so if you love plants, this is for you.

Nordic Nurseries is not on a bus route, so you MUST have a reliable way of getting to work.

Requirements:

• Physical aspects, so be able to be on your feet most of the day and lift up to 30 lbs
• Ability to speak and express well in English
• Focused and detailed oriented
• Able to work well with others and take instruction as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
