MSL Watson specializes in general landscaping and renovations along with Golf Course maintenance. Our crew members will be immersed in a wide array of Golf Course construction and maintenance duties, spanning from the initial groundwork to the meticulous upkeep of the course. Prospective candidates for the position should demonstrate a commitment to being dependable, devoted, and hardworking team members.
We are seeking 4-5 dedicated General Labourers to join our landscaping team. The ideal candidates will assist in various landscaping tasks to ensure the successful completion of projects. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work outdoors and contribute to transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful landscapes.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation of landscape features such as plants, trees, shrubs, and hardscape elements.
- Perform excavation, grading, and leveling tasks using hand tools and power equipment.
- Help in the construction of retaining walls, pathways, patios, and other landscape structures.
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
- Support the team in soil preparation, mulching, sodding, and seeding activities.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Be prepared to undertake various tasks and projects on short notice, adapting quickly to changing priorities and demands.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to promote efficiency and safety.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in landscaping and Golf Course maintenance or related field is required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping techniques, tools, and equipment.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
