GENERAL LABOURER
Due to growth within our company, we are seeking a Trim Wrapper to join our team in Hawkesville (just outside of Waterloo). Our Assemblers are integral members of the Chervin family and a key step in our vision to create inspired interiors that grace your living space with unrivaled QUALITY, DISTINCTION, and PEACE OF MIND. Our team embraces this vision in everything we do in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.
This is a full-time position with 44 hours a week. Wage commensurate with experience. Benefits are provided after the 3-month probationary period.

Since 1991, Chervin has been designing, manufacturing, and installing high-end custom cabinetry in homes across the Waterloo Region. Over the years, Chervin has expanded to serve the GTA and Muskoka region. Chervin has also built and acquired 4 sister companies which have given us the opportunity to be a key player in the markets for luxury hotel furniture, residential furniture, custom upholstered furniture, and home décor.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Foam wrap and label trim and panels for safe delivery to job site
- Fit together rangehoods and other custom assemblies
- Assemble mirrors into frames
- Operate effectively and responsibly under the direction your supervisor
- Help maintain an organized and tidy workspace to ensure smooth processes and enable your team to produce the best quality products
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure production requirements are met safely and efficiently

REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of Assembly experience, ideally in cabinetry
- Ability to read and discern blueprints
- Ability to lift 50-75lbs
- A general understanding of hand tools and basic woodworking tools
- Strong English verbal and written skills
- Knowledge of woodworking is an asset

Salary: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
