General Labourer/Machine Operator

Thomas Solutions is looking for several Labourers with Torch/Burning

Where: 70 Beach Road, Hamilton, Ontario

We are expanding and are seeking several Labourers with Torch/Burning Experience to join our Team!

Are you good with your hands? Do you have an eye for detail? Do you take pride in your work and work with precision?

Responsibilities:

• Communicate clearly and concisely with others regarding work instruction and completion of work
• Ensure working environment is clean and safe
• Read and interpret project plans, written instructions, verbal instruction
• Torch/Burning Specialist is responsible for assisting Working Lead Hands and Team Leaders with all tasks associated with Coil Repair
• Follow direction from the Working Team Leader, Team Leader and Operations Manager
• Use all hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Clean up any mess left around the work area at any time or on the site prior to leaving for the day
• Project a positive company image by acting professionally at all times, on or off client properties
• Follow all company policies and procedures including Health & Safety Policy

Preferred Skills:

• Hours are 24 hour shift rotation – 12 hour Continental Shifts – A,B,C,D.
• Valid and clean driver's license abstract
• Work well both individually and within a team environment
• Have good oral and written communication skills, job task planning and organization
• Complete all paperwork required by team members and supervisors
• Willingness and available for continuous learning.
• Some heavy lifting/labour may be required (<100 lbs.).
• Willingness to work extended hours during busy periods
• Ideally, the candidate will have a class G drivers license which will allow for training of larger equipment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $21.50 - $24.15 per hour
