About you:
- You know how to plan, organize and manage costs and expenditures for small and medium size projects.
- You have a construction background.
- You are familiar with municipal construction standards, codes and rules.
- You are a natural communicator and can easily build rapport and partnerships with both external and internal stakeholders.
- Your management style can be summed up like this: open door, empowering, strategic and supportive. You believe that leadership is a collective activity where we all have something to learn from each other.
- You can effortlessly juggle multiple priorities while keeping a smile on your face.
- You work well with deadlines and can organize and prioritize your workload.
All in a days work:
- Participate in daily huddles.
- Oversee-day-to-day operations.
- Work with operations on project timelines.
- Hire and train installers.
- Monitor inventory levels and unpack and organize product deliveries.
- Travel between Calgary, Red Deer and Edmonton
- Have fun, it's a busy role but rewarding.
Experience:
- 8+ plus years in a supervisory/leadership role in a similar industry.
- Solid understanding of installations in all types of weather conditions.
- Strong construction background and the Alberta building code.
- Punctual, highly organized, disciplined and accountable.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve business targets.
- Strong business acumen including managing budgets, expenses, and inventory.
- Proficient computer skills (Google Workspace).
- Customer focused, quality centric.
