Role overview

This job is to take charge of the entire production of our signature Ginger Juice shots and Tea in a commissary kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Production: manage the production of Ginger Juice shots and Tea, mastering the unique cold-pressed and dehydrating process that distinguishes our product
• Ingredient receiving: Carefully check the freshness and adequacy of ingredients and transferring them to a cooler storage
• Ingredient handling: Carefully prepare and handle ingredients, maintaining strict hygiene and safety standards.
• Labeling: Apply labels to bottles prior to production, maintaining strict hygiene and safety standards.
• Recipe mastery: Precisely following recipes to maintain consistency.
• Quality Assurance: Apply stringent quality control measures at each stage of production to ensure the highest standards of taste, freshness, and food safety.
• Equipment handling: Operate and maintain our cold press machine essential for production, ensuring optimal functionality and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented: Exceptional attention to detail in ingredient measurement, recipe adherence, and maintaining product consistency.
• Safety mindset: Adherence to stringent safety protocols to ensure food safety for customers and a safe working environment for oneself and others.
• Adaptability: Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility in responding to changing production demands.
• Food safe level 1 certificate
• Minimum 1 year experience working in food and beverage production

Physical qualifications

• Able to carry up to 40 lbs frequently (18kg)
• Able to stand for 8 hours a day (30 mins break)

Working conditions

• The work is situated within a commissary kitchen where multiple food companies operate.

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
