Job description

This position requires you to load, unload, sort, check, move, wrap package, store and/or pile different products, materials onto pallets, skid platforms and lifting devices in a warehouse setting.

ABOUT THE POSITION

In this role, as the material handler/shipping Forklift Operator you would be responsible for safely operating and managing equipment to load, unload, move, sort, package from storage areas, machines and loading docks. The prime function is to support the supply and demand for all incoming and outgoing products and accurately counting the document shipments.


THE REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be eligible to work in Canada
  • Ability to think and tackle problems
  • Ability to operate mateial handling equipment
  • Experience with RF (Radio Frequency Scanners) an asset
  • Wear safety personal protective equipment as required, work safely and observes all safety procedures
  • Label and sort incoming and outsgoing shipments
  • Relocate items within the warehouse
  • Track inventory of incoming and outgoing items
  • Complete other assisgned duties by supervisor
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with others
  • Ability to remain focused for extended periods of time and react quickly in emergency situations
  • Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work

COMPENSATION

$19+4%
