Canadian Executive Search Group (USA) is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as a HR Manager for a manufacturing client in the Ontario area.
Location: Leamington, Ontario
Schedule: FULL-TIME
Compensation: $80,000 + Benefits
Responsibilities:
- Disciplinary and/or functional management of employees
- Responsible for resource planning in the assigned area
- Responsible for target deployment according to Scorecard in the assigned area
- Implementing a modern, future-proof HR management system within the framework of the HR
- Implementing and monitoring individual HR measures in connection with personnel policy
- Providing operational HR support incl. assuming responsibility for the recruiting process for
- Acting as the main point of contact for the local Works Council/local labor unions. Ensuring
- Ensuring compliance with standardized processes as specified by CU Human Resources and
harmonizing the local processes based on them that apply to the plant- Analyzing staffing requirements in coordination with the Plant Manager/GM
- Responsible for the correct use of the specified IT systems, e.g. Workday, BMS
- Carrying out (ad-hoc) projects (e.g. introducing standardized job descriptions)

Minimum Qualifications
- Completed degree in Business Administration or Legal Studies
- Long-time experience in Human Resources or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Very good knowledge of labour law
- Minimum 5 years management experience in an Automotive Union environment
