Manager: Finance, Hr, And Managerial Accounting

Reports to: General Management and Company Ownership

Manufacturing and wholesale firm seeking senior level individual to grow into key role within company management. Our company is looking for a business minded individual with 10+ years of progressively responsible work experience. Individual must be a self-starter bringing a can-do attitude to the organization. Strong financial background is essential for this role. In addition, this person must have a sound comprehension of ERP systems, accounting and an understanding of manufacturing processes. The individual must be invested to acquiring knowledge of the business through day to day work experience which will facilitate managerial decision making. Previous experience in banking, financial sector, and management considered an asset. Accounting designation a bonus, but not mandatory as this position is not completely accounting focused.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Financial and Accounting
• Involvement with cost control, managerial and cost accounting.
• Responsible for identifying concerns to be resolved.
• Financial Analysis.
• Ensure compliance.
• Oversight in select inventory control items and strategic buying.
• With gained experience, individual could work into involvement in human resource functions within the business.
• Maintenance and improvement of basic company financial dashboards and database queries.
• Involvement and input with ongoing forecasting supply chain management.
• Support the improvement and implementation of policies and procedures.

Knowledge and Skills

• Knowledge
• Well-rounded knowledge of business and economy.
• Understanding of organizational systems and internal controls.
• Managerial accounting comprehension.
• Management of small/medium sized business.
• Skills and Abilities
• Proficient in operating ERP systems.
• Advanced Skills Microsoft Office (specifically Microsoft Excel).
• Individual must possess leadership abilities.
• Individual must be a team player and be able to work well with others.
• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
