Purpose of the Role The Senior Manager, HR Services and Optimization will be accountable for providing operational value to LifeLabs through leadership of the HR Services function, which is comprised of talent acquisition, HRHelp, centralized ER relations and process optimization. They will lead and oversee the HR Services function, ensuring it delivers a high-quality and consistent experience for all people leaders and employees.  They will pay a critical role in helping us deliver on our overall business goals, focusing on the employee experience and increasing efficiency through process optimization and facilitating innovative and strategic development and delivery of HR service excellence.
Core Accountabilities
 
-Lead the design and delivery of a modern, responsive HR service experience through a tiered HR response model encompassing the following teams:

-HR Help who provide HR data processing and Tier 1 support to employees
-HR team that supports self-service processes
-Talent Acquisition team
-Centralized employee relations team
-Identify and implement innovative solutions and best practices to enhance HR service delivery.
-Establish service standards, policies and procedures as well as monitor service trends and respond to user experience feedback to identify opportunities for enhancement of services.
-Implement clear responsibilities for administrative processes, streamlined processes and optimized workflows to ensure HR operational excellence.
-Build data entry and data audit processes to ensure HR data integrity.
-Develop integrated work methods and procedures to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
-Lead the documentation and standardization of HR processes.
-Lead the creation of SOPs, training documents, self-service documents and all materials to ensure a consistent and high-quality service.
-Collaborate with HR Technology to identify and assess opportunity to integrate AI and automation into HR services.
-Drive continuous improvement of our overall HR Services delivery model.
-Continuously assess and optimize HR service delivery processes in compliance with legal requirements and HR policies.
-Collaborate with HR Technology to build and implement User Acceptance and Service Review Testing activities and document procedural and systems issues encountered in the process.
-Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of HR service delivery.
-Collaborate with the Senior Manager, Compensation and Analytics in the development of various HR service delivery analytics and dashboards (PowerBI). 
-Lead the transofrmation of HR operations leveraging change management principles to ensure people and business objectives are achieved.
-Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to pro-actively understand their program needs and impact on HR Services and design integrated processes to support delivery.
-Lead, develop and coach a high-performing and engaged HR Services and Optimization team.
 
Qualification and Skills

-Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in HR operations.
-Knowledge of Human Resources best practices and standards. Understanding of HR processes including records administration, statutory reporting and regulations.
-Knowledge of employee relations matters.
-Experience with HR service delivery and tiered service delivery models.
-Ability to build and maintain collaborative, positive relationships with all stakeholders in a matrix structure.
-Experienced with change management; change management certification, Lean Six Sigma, Agile methodologies, or similar would be an asset.
-Problem solving skills with ability sound judgment and innovative solutions to challenging issues.
-Experienced in developing business requirements, process analysis and process improvement.
-Strong people management experience and demonstrated ability to develop talent.
-Strong understanding of data analytics and the ability to translate insights into actionable HR strategies.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
This is a hybrid role. 
Hiring Range: 108,200 - 138,000 
The hiring range has been established, however, the final salary recommendation will be determined based off the level of experience, education requirement, external market conditions and internal equity.  
In this position, you will be eligible for Lifelabs annual bonus.
