Job Description:
What will you work on?
This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and innovate within our finance department, leveraging cutting-edge automation technologies to optimize processes and drive efficiencies.
How will you create impact?
- Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for SAP automation initiatives within the finance department.
- Automation Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive automation strategy leveraging SAP technologies to streamline financial processes, reduce manual effort, and improve accuracy.
- Process Optimization: Analyze existing finance processes and identify opportunities for automation and improvement using SAP tools and technologies.
- System Integration: Collaborate with IT teams to integrate SAP automation solutions with existing finance systems and ensure seamless data flow.
- Project Management: Lead cross-functional teams in the planning, execution, and implementation of SAP automation projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to finance team members on SAP automation tools and processes, promoting adoption and proficiency.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in SAP automation and recommend enhancements to optimize finance operations.
What are your skills and experience?
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, with a concentration in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a CPA qualification is strongly preferred.
- Progressive experience in accounting or financial planning, and analysis in a leadership or managerial capacity.
- Extensive expertise in SAP finance modules (FI/CO) and experience with SAP automation tools such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, etc.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing SAP automation projects, preferably within the entertainment industry or in a fixed asset intensive business.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business needs and prioritiesTop of Form.
- Experience with Global Vista or other Production Accounting Software considered an asset.
