Golf Course Operations Team Member

The Club at Westlinks is a front porch golf community located near the shores of Lake Huron. The community boasts a 12 hole Golf Course, a tennis/pickleball court, a gym, a kitchen, a clubhouse and a pavilion, all amongst its growing housing development. The club is open year-round to the public and its guests and hosts a variety of golf events, functions, weddings and gatherings.

Westlinks is seeking individuals to join its Golf Operations Team this upcoming season. The individuals will be involved in all aspects of golf operations, indoors and outdoors. We are seeking people with integrity, a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. This is a seasonal, part time position. The position is flexible with hours and has the potential to be weighted heavier during April-June and Sept-Nov and lighter during July and August. For the right individual, there is potential for more responsibility and more consistent hours.

20-30 Hours/Week

Responsibilities:

· Accommodate customers at the pro shop counter – enthusiastic greetings, check ins, and willingness to answer their questions to the best of your ability

· Learn and understand our tee sheet/point of sale system

· Ensure retail financial obligations are fulfilled – counting tills, promotions, coupons, etc

· Perform backshop duties – parking, washing and organizing carts, driving range picking, tear down and set up, accessing members golf clubs and positive interactions with the customers

· Communicate effectively with other Team Members to ensure efficiency and that everyone is set up for success

· Assist with tournament/event set up and execution – ideas, opinions and previous experiences will be valued

· Assist other departments within the club when necessary

· General cleanliness and organizational tasks

Requirements

Compensation

· Compensation will be based on experience and dedication

Salary: $16.55-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
