ABOUT
St. Francis of Assisi School is seeking a passionate and committed part-time Grade 4 Teacher who embodies the core values of our faith to join our community for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. This position entails a 0.5 FTE commitment, covering Wednesdays, Thursdays, and every second Friday. At our school, we prioritize fostering a collaborative environment where our educators work closely together to develop and deliver engaging curriculum. We highly value flexibility and adaptability, as these qualities are essential for meeting the diverse needs of our students effectively. Our educational program is comprehensive and dynamic, offering students enriching experiences such as field trips that complement classroom learning. Additionally, coaching experience, particularly in volleyball or basketball, is considered a valuable asset.

On an on-going basis, we accept teacher applications for grade levels K to 12 for our Catholic schools throughout the Greater Vancouver Area and Powell River in beautiful British Columbia. All Catholics, non-Catholics, new education grads, and experienced teachers from across Canada are strongly encouraged to apply. Our major hiring season is in April for the following school year, but we recommend that you apply now as we receive an influx of applications.
