Role Description
This contract role will be a remote position for a Grain Buyer. The Grain Buyer will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and executing purchase contracts for grains, oilseeds, and specialty crops of assigned origin or sourcing regions. The Grain Buyer will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities, develop supply chain relationships, and support sales and marketing efforts.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in agricultural or commodities trading
Coordinate with producers / cleaning plants to purchase grains/ special crops.
Knowledge of agricultural production, commodity markets, and trading tools
Strong negotiating skilled for buying grain such as lentils, peas, oil seeds and specialty crop
Reports to management of all offers and bids and market intel
Ability to build strong Farmer's & Grain Elevator's relations
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with suppliers and customers
Establish a solid business base buying grains from the farmers
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with contacts at all levels

Maintain and expand existing client base and research new potential markets for Grain & Pulses.
Job Type: Part Time or Full Time Flexible working hours
This contract job is for 6 months terms, after completion of contract based on your performance either we will extend the contract or offer permanent job position in Foodlife Group Inc.
