The Grant Writer/Partnership and Sponsorship Specialist is responsible for researching, developing, and writing grant proposals to secure funding from private and public sources. The successful candidate will also play a key role in identifying and cultivating partnerships between private entities and public organizations to support our mission and projects.
This position requires a creative thinker with a proven track record in negotiating and managing sponsorships, as well as creating impactful advertising campaigns across various channels. This person will play a crucial role in developing and executing strategic initiatives that enhance our brand visibility, drive revenue, and strengthen partnerships.
Qualified applicants will possess:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., communications, business, marketing, public administration)
- Proven experience in grant writing, securing funding from private and public sources, and/or in sponsorship and advertising roles, with a focus on creating and implementing successful campaigns
- Strong understanding of private-public partnerships and the ability to cultivate and manage relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Creative thinker with a strategic mindset
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for campaign tracking and analysis
