Graphic Design/Social Media Coordinator

Job Description:

Are you a creative individual with a passion for design and social media? Westlock Powersports and Marine (WPM) is seeking a talented Graphic Designer/Social Media Coordinator to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

Graphic Design:

• Collaborate with the Marketing Director and other team members to create visually appealing and effective marketing materials, including brochures, posters, digital ads, and more.
• Use your design skills to help elevate our brand and maintain a consistent visual identity across all platforms.
• Utilize software tools like Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, and Canva to craft engaging graphics.
• Assist in the development and execution of creative campaigns and projects.

Social Media Coordination:

• Work closely with the Marketing Director to curate content for our social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and more.
• Plan and schedule social media posts, ensuring content is engaging, relevant, and on-brand.
• Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media platforms.
• Use data and analytics to assess the performance of social media campaigns and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with social media trends and emerging platforms to keep our strategy fresh and innovative.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience or coursework in graphic design and/or social media management is preferred.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, and Canva is a plus.
• Strong creative and visual skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Enthusiasm for learning and growing in the marketing field.
• A passion for powersports and marine activities is a bonus!

Salary: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• Graphic design: 1 year (preferred)
