Grocery Store Clerk - Organic

As a member of our Produce Team, your role will include receiving produce, inspect quality, cull, cut and pack produce. you will be responsible of setting and maintaining attractive produce displays and supporting the store vision. You will ensure a positive store reputation by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient customer service to customers and team members.

your duties will include:
-Giving every customer your immediate and undivided attention.
-Ensure a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked, checking quality and rotating produce.
-Maintain accurate department signage and pricing.
-Follow department procedures to maintain supplies, backstock and coolers and to track product spoilage.
-Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices
-Answer phone calls and pages quickly and with excellent phone etiquette.

-Must be at least 21 years of age.
-Previous experience in produce handling
-bilingual French and English.

-Available for flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the company, work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34 – 38 per week
