Grounds Maintenance And Landscape Labourer

Indigo Property Services (IPS) was founded by Eric Ruberto in 2021. Eric's vision was to start a Grounds Maintenance company that would provide lawn and garden maintenance solutions to the greater Halifax area. Initially, IPS found success in new construction properties with large lot sizes which required landscape installation.

Today, Indigo Property Services is proud to offer a wide range of services to both residential and commercial clients from landscape installation to Grounds Maintenance services. Indigo Property Services focuses heavily on providing friendly, knowledgeable, and quality services that our clients can trust. We have seen much growth by holding true to those values. Duties
- Perform general Grounds Maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees in gardens and Landscaped areas.
- Remove weeds, leaves, and debris from outdoor spaces.
- Operate and maintain Grounds Maintenance equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
- Assist with the construction of new garden beds.
- Assist maintenance team to meet targets.

Requirements
- Experience is an asset but must have willingness to learn.
- Full Nova Scotia drivers license.
- Good attitude and highly reliable.
- Knowledge of plant care and gardening techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and clients.
- Ability to quickly analyze situations and problem solve.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $16.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
