Group Dog Walker

We proudly specializes in positive reinforcement handling methods and we are looking to add another team member who wishes to join as a force-free Group Dog Walker In Squamish, BC.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, knowledgeable, trustworthy, self-motivated, responsible, friendly.

Applicants must have:
- Their own vehicle (an SUV or a truck with a canopy, no sedans) and a full class 5 drivers license

- Experience with dogs and previous Group Dog walking experience is an asset

- Knowledge of dog body language
- Knowledge of positive reinforcement and marker training or willingness to learn
- Full-time Monday to Friday 8am - 2pm
- Must be comfortable in the hiking trails of Squamish with up to 7 dogs off leash

LOTS of training will be provided! You will be required to take an animal First Aid CPR course and some dog behaviour and training courses.

This is not an average dog walking position, we maintain very high expectations of safety and treatment of the dogs. Compensation is competitive and there are some additional opportunities for income by means of dog sitting. If you are interested in hiking in the beautiful mountains of Squamish, with 6-7 furry companions then this is the job for you!

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $6,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends
