Fenwick Vacation Rentals is a boutique vacation rental firm that has been operating in Canmore since 2015. We operate multiple vacation rental properties in Canmore, AB and host thousands of visitors, every year, from around the world. As a short-term rental manager, we offer our services to property owners in the Canmore area who wish to operate their investment property as a short-term rental unit. We provide a full-service model to our property owner clientele, which includes MARKETING & ADVERTISING, GUEST SERVICES, MAINTENANCE & REPAIR, CLEANING SERVICES, FINANCIALS & REPORTING, CONSULTATION SERVICES, and much more. The Guest Services Representative will report directly to the Assistant General Manager.

The position will offer full time hours and steady shifts throughout the week. Based out of the main office the incumbent of the position will also travel to the various Fenwick Vacation Rental properties throughout Canmore on a daily basis. A VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE IS REQUIRED. Your own vehicle is an asset, but not a must.

The Guest Services Rep will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

- Answering inquiries, providing quotes, and completing bookings

- Completing all necessary administrative tasks for hosting guests

- Providing Guest Services (fielding guest requests, complaints, and ensuring guest satisfaction)

- Coordinating cleaning schedules and cleaning staff to satisfy guest needs

- Ensuring Quality Control (Ensuring cleans meet standards, units are in appropriate order and bringing maintenance items to the attention of the appropriate personnel)

- Effectively managing and ordering stock levels. Distributing stock to units.

- Ensuring clear and professional communications with guests, cleaners, and co-workers

- Monitoring access control

- Data entry

- Ensuring quality of rental units

- Performing other duties as required

Qualifications

- Previous working experience as Guest Services or related position for at least 1 year

- Working experience in Guest Services, customer service, or sales

- Knowledge of the best practices and procedures for customer service, hospitality management, hotel operations

- Experience with MS Office and CRM software

- Excellent communication, leadership, relationship building and interpersonal skills

- Problem-solving and time management aptitude

- Positive, customer service oriented attitude

- Degree in hospitality or similar relevant field would be an asset

Requirements: Candidates MUST be Bow Valley residents and have a valid drivers license

Compensation & Perks

· Hourly Wage $18-$20

· Performance Bonus & Raises
