About us!

Nature Camp is a full-day summer program spent predominantly outdoors with a lot of time in the woods. Each day campers walk the trail into the ravine where they explore the area around the stream. Additional activities are structured around base camp including group and team building games. Days are fun with active learning and an emphasis on being outdoors. Each week up to 100 campers ages 4yrs to 12yrs are in our care and must be engaged and always learning!

We want you to enjoy your summer job just as much as we want our campers to enjoy camp. We have exciting team building events and an interactive training process that will be sure to prepare you for all of the summer fun. We can not wait to kick off summer camp and hope you will join us.

Who are you?

You love the outdoors, care about the environment and teaching children. You are interested in hiking, gardening, geology, bird-watching, tree identification, bugs and so much more. You are energetic and enthusiastic. You want to teach children about your outdoor wilderness passion. You aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty. Position Requirements

• Experience working with children is preferred
• Outdoor experience & studies in Environment Sciences highly regarded
• Energetic and enthusiastic
• Team player, good communicator
• Standard First Aid & CPR-C preferred
• Vulnerable Sector Police Check (if over 18 years)
• COVID-19 vaccinated
• Monday-Friday daytime schedule
• 100% attendance during the summer season

Salary and Additional Information

• Full time (40 hours per week)
• Camp training - begins June 17th, 2024
• Camp operations - Mon to Fri, July 2nd to Aug 30th, 2024
• $18.00-$19.00/hour
