Role Summary

The Harbour position are responsible to exceed our customers expectations by providing the best Customer Service and ensuring that the Marina common areas and grounds are maintained. You will follow all Health and Safety guidelines and Starport Policies and procedures. This position maintains a schedule which incorporates weekends and holidays to ensure proper coverage to exceed our members expectations. Some Harbour roles will also include Dock store Cashier.

Responsibilities

To understand the requirements of members and ensure all members receive the best possible service. To assist with the operations and maintenance of Harbour facilities which includes the following: buildings, docks, equipment, cleaning washrooms, garbage pick up at slips, changing garbage’s, assist Members and guests arriving and departing from their slips, safely fuel and pump out vessels on the fuel dock following Starport training. Also responsible to communicate with members and guests in an effective and courteous manner regarding any events, policies, and procedures of the Marina and all facilities. Personally, comply with all health and safety practices as it relates to the work, standard operating guidelines and the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Compliance with all safety regulations, ensuring a clean and safe working environment. Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Must be able to work weekends from May 11, 2024 to October 14, 2024. Have reliable transportation to and from work. Ability to follow directions and work in a fast paced environment. Must be responsible with integrity.
