POSITION: Hardware Supervisor (40 hours/week)
LOCATION: Home Centre, Rocky Mountain House
Responsibilities will include:
- Providing exceptional member service with a positive, professional approach and attitude toward customers
- Providing support to the team, setting a good example
- Administering and being responsible for the sales, margin, expenses, inventory and SPEH of the hardware Department
- Supervising staff to ensure they adhere to merchandising standards, marketing efforts, staff appearance, house keeping and loss prevention
- Adhering to all Evergreen Cooperative Association policies and procedures
- Leading and directing employees, having excellent communication skills
- Assisting with ordering products
- Organizational skills and great time management
- Ability to work independently in a team environment
- Previous retail experience would be an asset
- Ability to handle multiple demands and make tough decisions
- Sense of urgency
- Ability to lift up to 50Ibs unassisted
- Hardware product knowledge
