Head Cashier - Lacombe - Central Alberta Co-Op

Our Lacombe Food Store is looking for a full-time Head Cashierto join our team.

Full-time: 40 hours/week. Benefit eligible after 3 months. If you are coming from out of province, please remember you need to have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.

Availability requirements: Weekdays and weekends - mornings, afternoons and evenings.

Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer service as well as assist in reducing theft and loss
• Be familiar with and adhere to Central Alberta Co-op policies and procedures
• Promote Co-op's memberships and benefits
• Supervise and develop front-end staff
• Oversee and handle sale transactions
• Order and receive products and properly store or display
• Process accurate paperwork in a timely manner
• Other duties as assigned by the manager

Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment
• Good delegation skills with a focus on customer service
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize work and adapt to changes
• Some heavy lifting is required (up to 50 lbs.)
