This position is responsible for training, coaching and developing cashiers to ensure customer receive outstanding and quick checkout service. B ensuring the efficient operation of the registers, influencing and supporting the cashier team, expediting price checks and identifying high shrink items.
Here’s where you’ll be focusing:
- Supervise, hire and train cashiers
- Schedule writing
- Perform various cash office duties
- Greet customers
- Process cash register payments by cash, cheque, credit card and debit
- Wrap and place merchandise in bags
- Balance and reconcile cash an end of work shift
- Maintain cleanliness of check stands
- Complete price changes
What you have to offer:
- Some secondary school preferred
- Minimum 1 year of Cash Office experience
- Supervisory experience preferred by not required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Available to work flexible hours
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
