In this permanent position, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating the delivery of Health and Social Services to community members, encompassing scheduling, coordination, document management, and communications development. - Relocation assistance is provided, if not presently a resident of Gold River, BC
- First three months of accommodation are provided
- Coordinate service and program delivery, including support with planning and program activity reporting functions
- Perform financial reporting coordination through reporting requirement tracking and report development, including a role in basic accounting functions (collecting expense receipts for submission, under the direction of the department manager)
- Follow up on requests for information and assisting Manager and staff with various administrative, financial, and other matters.
- Organize schedules and meetings as requested and provide agenda development support and creation of meeting records, action logs and issues trackers.
- Book and organize requested travel arrangements.
- Draft briefing notes or other correspondence as requested.
- Perform other tasks as deemed necessary to ensure the effective coordination of Health and Social Services.
- High school diploma with relevant post-secondary education or equivalent work experience
- Minimum three years of experience in a similar or higher position
- Knowledgeable and respectful of Indigenous traditional healing practices
- Cross-culturally sensitive and trauma-informed with awareness of reconciliation practices
- Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Word and Excel
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently within a supportive team environment
- Advanced coordination, organizational and time management skills
- Ability to deal with individuals in varying situations where complex, high pressure, difficult decisions, or emergencies may occur.
- Interact with others in a tactful, compassionate, and sensitive manner.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Valid driver's license and access to own vehicle
- Clear criminal records check/Vulnerable Sector Check
- Full COVID-19 vaccination
- Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
