Paul Equipment & Sons (2008) is a recognized and respected company in the field and has been established since 1986. Expanding in recent years, the company is looking for a heavy machinery mechanic for our business place in Fredericton, NB.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Repair and maintain machinery with preventive and corrective measures;

· Perform repairs, replacements and adjustments;

· Check hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and diesel systems;

· Perform functional tests ;

· Write and complete the necessary reports ;

· Clean the workstation and store tools ;

· Any other related tasks .

REQUIREMENTS

· Technical training completed (diploma or certificate) or equivalence;

· Apprentices - provincial recognition;

· Certified mechanics or equivalent; 3 to 5 years of experience on heavy equipment, including shovels, loaders, Forestry, compact equipment, etc.;

· Mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, diesel and electrical knowledge ;

· Valid driver's license (Class 5) ;

· Welding skills;

· Computer knowledge;

· Meet the standards of suppliers;

· Being bilingual can be an asset.

REQUIRED PROFILE

· Ability to work independently, adapt to different situations and manage challenges;

· Ability to work in a team and to maintain positive interactions with others;

· Good oral and written communication and reading skills;

· Willingness to do the job well while respecting quality and safety standards and ensuring customer satisfaction.

WORKING CONDITION

· May ask you to lift and carry a load weighing up to 50 pounds (22 kg) and sometimes even up to 85 pounds (39 kg);

· Working inside & outside;

· Possibly travel occasionally;

· May require extra hours (overtime).
