(Experience with Excavator, Front End Loader, Dozer) for work to support our Acid Loadout Enclosure Building Procurement and Construction on a Southern Project – 8kms southwest of the corporate limits of Estevan – Sask Power Boundary Dam
Job Summary: The
Heavy Equipment Operator will assist with the movement of earthworks, and ability to work in confined spaces removal of debris, and dirt, potentially assist with the install of steel structures, piping, and provide support, and other duties as assigned.
Scope of Responsibilities:
- Complete job hazard assessment and put mitigation strategies into place on a task-by-task basis.
- Take direction and perform tasks with minimum supervision.
- Determine materials required for each job, and able to effectively plan task sequence.
- Follow all safety requirements, and report any unsafe working conditions according to Company Policy, and Quality
- Duration 10 days on, and 4 days off at 10 hour days.
- Camp location will be provided.
- Work location: SaskPower Boundary Dam
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in an industrial/construction work environment, as a certified Heavy Equipment Operator, with no down time hrs.
- Certified – Heavy Equipment Operator (Front end loader, Excavator, Dozer)
- Safety Certification Required:
o WHMIS 2015
o Pre-access Drug and Alcohol Certificate
o SaskPower General Safety Orientation
o Site Specific Orientation
o CODC Interactive Rights and Responsibilities
o Ground Disturbance Training
