- Ensure the safety of company personnel, the community, and environment.
- Responsible for completing daily equipment checklist.
- Responsible for maintaining and inspecting equipment to ensure good working order and document conditions found prior to shift operation.
- Monitor material production within specifications.
- Ensure consistent feed to maintain a quality product.
- Create an atmosphere of teamwork.
- Seek out and implement Best Practices.
- Communicate information with Crusher Foreman.
- Ensure safety goals are achieved.
- Work co-operatively with all personnel.
- The ideal candidate will have a broad range experience operating Heavy Equipment (1A License an asset), a minimum two (2) years mining/aggregates experience preferred and five (5) years proven experience in Heavy Equipment operation.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills and works well in a team environment.
- A positive and proactive attitude towards teamwork and safety.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Effective organizational, time management and analytical skills.
- Self-motivated and can work with minimal supervision.
