Heavy Equipment Operator - Full Time Seasonal

Responsibilities:

➢ To work as part of a team under supervision of the crew foreman &/or superintendent to operate either an excavator or a loader and other miscellaneous duties as required,

➢ Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner,

➢ General maintenance of equipment,

Qualifications:

➢ Experience with pipework, groundwork, earthmoving and ditching,

➢ Experience in the operation of equipment in a high traffic environment,

➢ Knowledge of equipment operation, cleaning & maintenance requirements,

➢ Analytical & problem-solving skills considered an asset,

➢ Valid Class 5 NS driver’s license,

➢ Ability to work with minimal supervision,

➢ Must be willing to travel within Northern and Eastern Nova Scotia.
