Heavy Equipment Operator
Mosquito GBHLM First Nation is hiring for (2) qualified full time Heavy Equipment Operators who will be working under the supervision of the Manager of Public Works.
Under the direction of the Manager of Public Works, the Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for operating Heavy Equipment in a safe and effective manner.
Qualifications:
    Heavy Equipment Operator Certificate
    Knowledge of truck and equipment safety
    Knowledge of the operation of a front-end loader, dozes, graders, and other pieces of Heavy Equipment
    Knowledge of equipment maintenance and storage
    Knowledge of road construction and maintenance techniques
    Knowledge of workplace safety requirements and procedures
    Ability to lift heavy objects
    Valid Drivers License
Duties and Responsibilities:
    Perform daily safety and maintenance checks
    Clean Heavy Equipment as scheduled and/or required
    Ensure Heavy Equipment is safely and securely stored
    Advise the Public Works Director of any requirements for maintenance or repairs
