Peel Senior Link, a non-profit charitable organization established in 1991, provides personal care & home-making services. Peel Senior Link maximizes independent living--helping seniors live with dignity, stability and safety. Peel Senior Link is funded by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care through the Mississauga Halton Local Health Integrated Network and the Central West Local Health Integrated Network, grants and personal and corporate donations.
Job Summary:
Provides light housekeeping, grocery, and laundry services to Peel Senior Link clients. Duties are completed according to the needs of each client.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Perform general housekeeping duties within client’s homes. Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Dusting and wiping furniture
- Sweeping, washing floors, vacuuming
- Cleaning counters, sink, toilet, etc.
- Garbage disposal
- Making beds
- Wash and fold laundry. Put clothing away
- Assist the client in food preparation
- Perform additional duties as requested by the client and supervisor
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED
- Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Clear Police Record Check & Vulnerable Sector Check (completed in the last 6 months)

Salary: From $16.55 per hour

Experience:
- Residential cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
