Host/Host
Duties:
- Welcome and greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Assist with seating arrangements to ensure efficient use of dining space
- Answer phone calls and take reservations or provide information as needed
- Manage waitlist during busy periods and provide accurate wait time estimates
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of service
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with excellent customer service skills
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred
- Strong hospitality and customer service skills
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of POS (Point of Sale) systems is a plus
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively with others
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
