Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as proficiency in Google Suite and other computerized systems. This position will primarily involve clerical duties and providing support to various departments within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exemplary client support via email and telephone, addressing inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
- Manage and organize internal documents and communications to ensure team efficiency and accuracy.
- Learn and apply accounting and bookkeeping terminologies and software to support our team and clients effectively.
- Oversee social media management, including content creation and engagement, to maintain and grow our online presence.
- Organize appointments, meetings, and company events, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail.
- Engage in specialized tasks such as pulling information from the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), responding to letters from the CRA, and assisting with Royer Accounting’s internal bookkeeping.
- Update forecasts and profitability spreadsheets for staff, facilitating informed decision-making and financial planning.
- Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes for clients and employees, ensuring a smooth transition and maintaining organizational integrity.
Qualifications:
- Proven organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Technological proficiency, especially with social media platforms, and a willingness to learn new software.
- Previous experience in support roles, with a history of positive client interactions.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with accounting and bookkeeping terminology; direct experience with CRA correspondence is a plus.
- A team player who values a balance between hard work and a positive, playful work environment.

Compensation and Work Schedule:
- Compensation will be based on qualifications and experience, plus a technology allowance for using your own phone and computer.
- Work from home, 37.5 hours per week with flexibility as needed.
- Availability during certain core hours is preferred, accommodating flexibility as required.
