In your role as a HR Coordinator, you will be reporting to the Human Resources Manager directly and will successfully execute the recruitment needs for the Calgary branch. You will identify, source, and attract high performing candidates through our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to build a strong and engaging workforce. You will also be responsible for employee relations, supporting HR policies and procedures and other tasks as assigned.

What does a HR Coordinator in Calgary do?
-Acquire an understanding of the client’s business and operating processes
-Utilize existing recruitment and on-boarding processes and tools to effectively source, select and facilitate the hiring process.
-Post job ads, screen resumes, conduct interviews, and hire a large number of candidates through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
-Create employment offers letters, enter new hire details, as well as complete employment confirmation letters as requested.
-Participate in career fairs, liaise with external agencies when required, and support employee referral programs.
-Provide our clients with world class services by providing strong candidates.
-Perform corrective actions and conduct discipline meetings.
-Conduct exit interviews with departing employees (if required)
-Other duties as required.
Qualifications to become a HR Coordinator in Calgary
-1-2-year experience in the HR field, ideally in a fast paced, client driven industry is an asset. Individuals that just completed their education will be equivalent to work experience
-An undergraduate degree, diploma or certificate, preferably in Business with a focus in Human Resources or a related discipline is required
-2-3 years in a Customer Service role is an asset
-Experience in the security industry will be an asset
-Strong written & verbal communications skills
-Strong organization and time management skills
