Duties & Responsibilities
- Define, manage & drive the overall HRIS system roadmap
- Ensure effective policies & procedures are established & maintained
- Develop and implement processes & procedures to ensure data integrity.
- Develop, document, & maintain all current & new HRIS business process workflows for efficiency & compliance.
- Provide training & guidance to system users
- Utilizes standard reporting tools to write, maintain & support a variety of reports or queries
- Develops standard reports for ongoing client group needs & ad hoc queries as needed
- Work with the Director, Human Resources to translate business needs into projects, including prioritization, scheduling, and resource planning.
- Evaluate requests, make recommendations and execute agreed on process improvements & system enhancements.
- Test new features to ensure a smooth end user experience.
- Actively communicate with project teams, clients, & vendors.
- Identify & resolve issues or opportunities to enhance the user experience.
- Coordinate with Information Technology & the user community to identify areas of improvement, recommend changes, & implement functional solutions for existing systems.
Experience, Skills & Competencies
- 5+ years’ experience with HRIS systems; experience with Ceridian DayForce preferred.
- Experience managing HRIS changes/implementations.
- Out-of-the-box thinker & a hands-on HRIS expert continuously seeking ways to improve and optimize use of HRIS platforms; experience with multiple HRIS platform implementations preferred.
- Strong problem solving/analytical skills with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Proficient in Excel and managing data.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written.
- Effective presentation skills for communicating the strategic story behind HR data.
- Thorough understanding of and experience with the system development life cycle.
- Strong computer skills: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HRIS/HRMS
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems both independently and collaboratively.
- Understands and responds to sense of urgency with the ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure.
- Handles transaction and dealings in the best interest of both the customer and Company
- Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Self-directed, works independently; results driven/initiative.
- A solid team player that can trouble shoot, resolve issues and achieve results.
