Our client has been around for almost 100 years as an integrated, multi-trade service provider that safely delivers high-quality construction, facilities management, and technical resolutions. They are looking for their next HVAC/G1 Technician in Moncton, NB to add to their constantly growing team!
As the HVAC/G1 Technician you will maintain, upgrade, troubleshoot, and repair various HVAC/G1 equipment and systems to achieve optimum life span of the equipment.
What we offer

- Day Shift (must be comfortable with being on call, approximately 1 week every 12 weeks)

- Complete regularly scheduled maintenance
- Take apart, repair, and rebuild mechanical equipment; install new equipment, gas lines, refrigerants lines etc
- Complete work orders, defect reports, field quotes, estimates, and daily summary reports in a timely manner
- Measure, cut, and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul entire heating, ventilation, air handling, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems
- Fix and test electronic components
- Assist in determining the best process to repair, including determining the price and projects scopes
- Ensure the safety of yourself and fellow workmen while preforming work duties, making sure you are following applicable regulations and safety policies and procedures
- 3-5 years’ experience in service, maintenance, replacement, and installation for commercial and industrial sites
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Secret Security Clearance
- G1 gas certification, or equivalent
- Ability to read and work from HVAC/R, mechanical schematics, electrical schematics, line drawings, etc.
- Valid G driver’s license
- Experience using mobile technologies would be an asset
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge in a variety of electronic, pneumatic, and DDC control systems an asset
- Strong mechanical ability and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and the ability to meet deadlines
- Able to work well in a team and collaborate effectively with the team
