We are a family owned mobile catering business that brings unique Latino-Asian Artisan Ice Cream and desserts! We operate out of a reputable commissary kitchen located in East Vancouver.
We are in need of passionate Part Time Bakers to join our team immediately! If you love Ice Cream and all things sweet, have basic pastry training, have a keen eye for detail and are ready to contribute to a growing business, this job is for you!
This is a seasonal part-time position with an opportunity to grow.
Key responsibilities:
- Baking, preparing and portioning Ice Cream toppings such as chocolate, cakes, cookies, tarts etc.
- Prepare and create Ice Cream flavours in according to established recipes and safety standards.
- Baking and assembling of Ice Cream sandwiches.
- Pastry production of other complementary desserts.
- Maintain high attention to detail during preparation and strive to maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Be a learner and innovator, that can follow structured recipes.
- Be highly knowledgeable about our ingredients and take accountability for your results.
- Labelling and packing pint jars, Ice Cream sandwiches and other product offerings.
- Batch prepping for Ice Cream bases.
- Maintaining a clean and FoodSafe kitchen.
- Equipment set up, maintenance, tear down, and cleaning
- Moving and organizing inventory via FIFO
- Receiving inventory deliveries and checking for quality.
- Ensure high quality of finished products.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, when needed.
- Taking and preparing online orders.
Physical Requirements:
- Repetitive tasks.
- Able to stand for 4+ hours
- Comfortable with physical work, lifting up to 50lbs.
- Work in a fast paced environment.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years experience working at caterings or in a commercial kitchen.
- Basic pastry training.
- Food Safe Level 1 Certificate.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Have a positive attitude with a passion for quality and efficiency.

- Able to work Wednesdays to Sundays for Morning/ Day shifts.
