Ice Cream Server

Job Overview:
We are seeking fun and enthusiastic Ice Cream Scoopers to join our team at Queen Street Creamery. As part of our Ice Cream Dream Team, you will be responsible for selling and serving high-quality Ice Cream treats to our customers. Responsibilities:
- Operate a waffle iron and equipment
- Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the Truck and Shed area
- Provide excellent customer service, taking orders and serving Ice Cream treats
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies
- Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines

Experience:
- Previous experience in food preparation or a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of basic math for cash handling purposes
- Strong time management skills to ensure timely serving of Ice Cream treats
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude

- Basic math: Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations for cash handling purposes.
- POS: Familiarity with point-of-sale systems for order processing.
- Sanitation: Knowledge of proper sanitation practices in a kitchen environment.
- Kitchen: Experience working in a kitchen setting, following safety protocols is an asset but can be taught to the right candidates.

Contract length: 5 months

Salary: From $15.30 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
