In Room Dining Server

Following the relocation of a team member, Hotel Grand Pacific is recruiting a Room Service Server for our food & beverage department. The chosen candidate will provide exceptional service to our hotel guests that choose to dine from the comfort of their room.

The role includes receiving food & beverage orders over the phone, assisting with queries, and delivering orders to guest rooms in a timely manner.

A luxury independent property located on Victoria’s beautiful inner harbour, Hotel Grand Pacific is 304 rooms and is proudly affiliated with Preferred Hotels and Resorts.

This a permanent position ideal for someone with a flexible schedule looking for 15-29 hours of work per week. Shifts will vary between mornings and evenings.

$18.31/hr plus grats

What We’re Looking For:

· Experience working In Room service is desired, but any serving experience will be considered. Preference may be given to candidates that have experience working in hotels.

· Post-secondary training in Hospitality Management an asset

· Must have Food Safe (or equivalent) and Serving It Right certificates

· Good knowledge of wines

· A friendly demeanour and professional verbal communication skills

· Comfortable answering phone calls

· Organized, attentive, and adaptable

· Honest and accountable, with a high level of integrity

· Available to work a range of shift times.
