We are seeking a skilled Tax Preparer to join our team. As a Tax Preparer, you will be responsible for assisting clients in preparing and filing their tax returns accurately and efficiently. Your attention to detail and knowledge of tax laws and regulations will ensure that our clients receive the maximum deductions and credits they are entitled to.
Responsibilities:
- Gather and review client financial information, including income statements, expense records, and documentation of deductions and credits
- Prepare and file accurate tax returns for individuals, businesses, and organizations
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering client questions and addressing any concerns
- Conduct thorough reviews of completed tax returns to identify any errors or discrepancies
- Assist clients with tax planning strategies to minimize their tax liability
- Maintain client confidentiality and protect sensitive information
Skills:
- Proficiency in using tax preparation software such as Profile
- Strong knowledge of federal, provincial, and local tax laws and regulations
- Experience of at least 2 - 5 yrs in Income Tax preparation
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong analytical skills to identify potential deductions and credits for clients
- Effective communication skills to explain complex tax concepts to clients

Salary: $20.00-$29.00 per hour
