Industrial Territory Manager
RevTalent is currently seeking an Industrial Territory Manager on behalf of our customer - A leading supplier of tools, fasteners, chemicals and paint to industry and commercial businesses throughout the Maritimes.
This position reports directly to the President and will cover a territory comprised of the SouthnShore and the Annapolis valley. They will ensure the development of new customers and the retention of existing customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
● 20-25% of your time will be spent maintaining existing relationships and building sales
with these accounts.
● 75-80% of your time will be prospecting new business opportunities and establishing
new accounts in a pre-existing territory
● Creating sales orders for customers, as well as selling goods from on-hand inventory
● Keeping up to date with new product information
● Setting up new VMI accounts and servicing existing VMI accounts
● Creating weekly sales reports and attending weekly sales meetings with the team
REQUIREMENTS
● Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position
● Up to 25% of travel time could involve overnight travel (5-6 days/month).
● Experience with Industrial customers in the target market
● General knowledge of the hardware industry and familiarity with the product lines are
considered an asset
● Strong computer skills especially in Microsoft Office
● Valid Drivers License
● Ideal candidate will reside Truro, South Shore, or Annapolis Valley
● A strong emphasis on customer service, customer satisfaction and a history of building
long term customer relationships
