OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY

The Information Technology Co-op will collaborate with an outstanding team, utilizing advanced technology, to offer IT support to users in Canada and the US.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Manage the IT service desk queue.
  • Provide user support primarily in Canada.
  • Distribute software and maintain software versions on user computers.
  • Monitor the monthly security patching schedule.
  • Refresh desktops/laptops using KACE Images and upgrade Windows 10 to 11.
  • Enter asset information into the system.
  • Monitor the compliance status of endpoint anti-virus software.
  • Contact vendors for hardware/software support.
  • Renew warranties for PCs and printers.
  • Manage printer consumable inventory and place orders.
  • Manage inventory and order hardware accessories (mouse, keyboard, etc.) for end users.
  • Tag hardware assets.
  • Onboard and offboard users, making necessary changes only.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

  • Attending or recently graduated from an Information Technology program in University or College
  • Proactive in learning and development activities
  • Works well within a team
  • Excellent communication, time management and problem-solving skills
