We are seeking a responsible and friendly Manager who will be living on residence to oversee the day-to-day operations of our inn. As the Live-In Manager, you will be responsible for managing the staff, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining the property. While experience is preferred, it is not necessary as you can learn on the job.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
- Ensure exceptional guest service and satisfaction by addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
- Oversee daily operations, including managing reservations, coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance, and ensuring that all rooms are properly cleaned and maintained.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, including food and beverage supplies, linens, and other necessary items.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and staff.
- Manage the budget and financial performance of the inn, including revenue management and expense control.
- Handle administrative tasks, including payroll, bookkeeping, and record-keeping.
Requirements:
- Experience in hotel management or a similar role is required
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
- Knowledge of hospitality software, such as reservation and property management systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Valid driver's license and personal vehicle is vital
