As an Installer Assistant at Bath Fitter, you will train with seasoned Installers, assisting them on installing our premium products.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for assisting Installers with the accurate and professional installation of all Bath Fitter products at the job site according to Bath Fitter procedures and to the customer’s complete satisfaction.
  • Typical tasks include: Adhere to all Bath Fitter standards, policies and procedures for installations and follow all safety procedures and protocols.
  • Assist in the installation process through tasks such as helping set up and clean up the workspace, loading and unloading the van, measuring and cutting materials, installing plywood and sheetrock, and preparing the enclosure for silicone application.
  • Help keep the company van clean, organized, and stocked with all necessary tools and job components.
  • Maintain a pleasant and professional attitude when dealing with customers; respect their property and leave the work area clean.
  • Participate in regular branch and/or regional meetings and training sessions.
  • Attendance and punctuality is required.

Job Requirements

  • Eager to learn a new trade, and interest in the home improvement industry
  • Take pride in doing quality work and helping your team
  • High school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent education required.
  • 1-2 years of related experience in carpentry and/or renovation is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to take accurate measurements using tape measure, level andamp; combination square.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
  • Ability to use power tools (drill, jigsaw, etc.) preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record.
  • Ability to perform physical labor, including but not limited to lifting and moving heavy objects multiple times a day

  • Positive attitude and ability to communicate well with customers and colleagues.
