What our work looks like
This is a full-time position for the Lloydminster Area. We seek Journeyman or 3rd or 4th Year apprentice electricians with relevant commercial, industrial and oilfield experience. With a consistent focus on safety, cost control and client satisfaction, the Electrician will also have a history of producing quality work with attention to detail that meets or exceeds client needs. Selected candidates can be expected to:
· Install, calibrate, and maintain various oilfield instruments.
· Inspect and test the operation of instruments and systems, diagnosing faults using pneumatic, electrical, and electronic testing devices and precision measuring instruments.
· Install process control instrumentation, including transmitters, controllers, analyzers, and control valves.
· Perform mechanical work associated with instrument repair and modification, including removal and installation of small piping and tubing.
· Rebuild and calibrate transmitters and control valves, tune controllers.
· Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work.
· Complete all written and electronic required, documenting the work in progress and as it is completed, including Work orders, Maintenance reports, and Material requests.
Qualifications
· Journeyman Instrument Technician or 3rd or 4th Year apprentices with experience in oilfield maintenance is a must.
· Strong computer skills with a high level of interest in learning Noralta’s propriety applications
· Current H2S Alive certification and Standard First Aid would be an asset
