Positions: Hiring for an experienced Interior Installer/Finisher

We are known as a customer’s one-stop AMO (Aircraft Maintenance Organization) shop for:

· Maintenance

· Full Interior Refurbishment/Modification

· Avionics Installations

· Exterior Paint Refinishing

· Engineering Support

· Technical Services

Job Statement:

· To apply finishes to interior and exterior surfaces of cabinets and interior parts.

Essential Functions:

· a. Conduct daily operations such as cleaning, repairing, sanding, polishing and application of finishes to cabinets, interior panels and other aerospace products.

b. Meet quote expectations.

c. Organize and keep a clean work environment in the finishes shop and related work areas.

d. Complete work and discrepancies in accordance with company procedures.

e. Repair broken plastics.

f. Complete all necessary paperwork as related to job functions.

g. Participate in and support the company’s SMS program.

h. Perform other duties, as necessary or as assigned by the Supervisor.

Typical Job Decisions:

· o Decide on the acceptance and quality of completed work.

o Decide on priorities and set-up of Interior Finishing department.

o Decide on alternate types of materials used during the finishing process.

Job Knowledge and Skills:

o Knowledge of sewing machines and sewing skills.

o Ability to use hand-tools, good hand-eye coordination.

o Good attention to detail, ability to perform precision work.

Job Qualifications

o Secondary School Diploma or equivalent

o Certificate of qualification or trades (preferred)

o Auto body, carpentry or woodworking experience.

Working Conditions:

Physical Effort:

o Heavy lifting up to 50 lbs

o Sitting or standing for long periods of time

o Crouching, bending, kneeling

o Must be able to work from heights.

o Sand for long periods of time.

Visual and Concentration Effort:

o Must be cognizant of situational awareness at all times with strong attention to detail.

Unpleasant, Hazardous, or Challenging Working Conditions:

o Exposure to hazardous chemicals, slippery floors, dust, adverse weather conditions and working in confined areas.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $21.92-$23.48 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
