The Inventory Associate will support both Quality and Operations by completing inventory counting activities; assisting with product staging for both production and order fulfillment; and supporting inventory investigations.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct Inventory counting activities as defined by the Quality Assurance Inventory Control (QAIC) Manager and the Inventory Coordinator.
- Stage inventory required for production & outbound activities including both cannabis and non-cannabis materials.
- Assist with the receipt, organization, and accuracy of all relevant Cannabis goods within applicable systems.
- Assist QAIC Manager and Inventory Coordinator with investigations on inventory discrepancies.
WHAT YOU BRING:
- High School diploma; Warehouse or Supply Chain certifications would be considered an asset;
- Knowledge of operations, warehouse management, and transportation management would be considered an asset;
- Knowledge of WHMIS and other safety systems;
- Knowledge of warehouse documentation, with good writing skills
- Ability to interpret and act upon complex instructions; and
- Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Physically capable of manual labor that includes lifting up to 50lbs, bending, and reaching.
YOUR EXPERIENCE:
- 1+ years of direct work experience in a warehouse position;
- Experience with radio frequency ID systems (RFID), bar code systems, and electronic data interchange (EDI) would be beneficial;
- Familiarity with enterprise-level track-and-trace systems, as well as implementation experience; and
- Experience using Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
You are HIGHLY ORGANIZED, highly skilled in planning and resource allocation.
You Are TECHNICALLY SAVVY, proficient with logistics and inventory software, MS Office Suite and other ERP platforms.
You Are an EXCEPTIONAL COMMUNICATOR, with strong interpersonal skills, customer service skills and coordination skills.
